Changes to Calvert Surgery, Hull

Haxby Group is working with patients and stakeholders from our Calvert Surgery in Hull around our proposal to cease providing services at the Calvert Centre and provide all our services from nearby Newington Health Centre.
 
Our branch surgery at the Calvert Centre has been operating limited hours since the beginning of April 2023. Following a review of the medical services based at Calvert Centre, we are proposing to consolidate services currently offered across our Newington and Calvert sites and to close our branch site at Calvert from late December. If this goes ahead, we will no longer be providing services from the surgery at The Calvert Centre.
 
We would like to reassure all patients that, should this closure go ahead, there would be no change to the existing clinical team working within the practice.  There would be no reduction to our teams who take your calls and there would be no reduction in the number of appointments currently available.
 
All Calvert Surgery patients have been contacted with full details of this proposal.

We are also holding a ‘drop in’ session at the Calvert Surgery for patients to discuss the proposed closure on Tuesday 14 November between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
